Do you want to work on important facilities in our power grid and take on responsibility? In this versatile role, you reliably operate protection, control, and monitoring technology – in substations, transformer stations, and power plants.
Your tasks
- You manage construction sites in high-voltage systems of BKW as well as at external customers and ensure occupational safety
- You independently commission primary and secondary systems – from control, monitoring, and protection technology to transformers and switchgear
- You carefully carry out maintenance and service work on protection systems and other components of secondary technology
- At construction meetings, you coordinate with internal specialist departments, project participants, and customers
- You reliably create and check test and commissioning documentation
- After comprehensive training, you participate in on-call duty for about four weeks per year
Your profile
- You have completed basic electrical training, for example as an automation technician EFZ or electrical installer EFZ
- Further training at HF or FH level in electrical or systems engineering or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, you have knowledge of secondary technology in the high-voltage environment or experience with commissioning automation and industrial plants
- You work precisely, efficiently, and independently and like to think beyond various specialist areas
- You are willing to travel within Switzerland and stay overnight away from home and hold a category B driving licence
- You communicate confidently and fluently in German; knowledge of French is an advantage
