Our client is an established Swiss development service provider company specialising in innovative solutions in the fields of medical technology, mechanical engineering and automation. With an interdisciplinary team of experienced engineers, the company supports its customers from the idea to the market-ready product. To strengthen the development team we are looking for a service-oriented personality.
Development Engineer Plastics Technology 80 - 100% (a)
Your tasks:
- Development and optimisation of sophisticated plastic and/or injection moulded assemblies according to customer specifications
- Technical advice to customers on applications, manufacturability and production processes
- Management of customer projects from enquiry to series production
- Ensuring project execution in terms of deadlines, costs and quality
- Planning, conducting and documenting tests and sampling
- Creation and maintenance of development-accompanying technical documentation
- Contributing to the success of customers with innovative solutions
Your profile:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering (FH/ETH) or comparable technical education
- Several years of experience in the development and design of plastic and/or injection moulded parts
- Sound knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and quality assurance
- Very good CAD skills, ideally in several systems
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- High customer and service orientation as well as initiative and enthusiasm for innovation
- Very good German skills as well as solid English skills
