About the job
Class and annual salary (including 13th month salary):
7 73'556.-- / 116'071.--
Tasks:
- conduct computer forensic analyses within the context of Police and Public Prosecutor activities
- provide support, as a technical specialist, in conducting judicial police investigations
- collaborate on technical-IT projects according to the service's area of responsibility
- optimise computer forensic analysis methods and automate work processes, proposing possible improvements
- collaborate in training relevant to the section
- participate at cantonal, national and international levels in working groups and/or projects within their specialist field
Requirements:
- higher education (APF, SSS) in IT, data analysis, or a related field
- several years of experience in the field of IT security
- in-depth knowledge of network and system security, data analysis and programming
- analytical and interdisciplinary approach, psychological and physical resilience, and ability to work independently and in a team
- excellent knowledge (speaking and writing) of Italian, knowledge (written and spoken) of at least one other official language and English
- category B driving licence
- willingness to attend training courses and obtain related specialist certifications
- Swiss citizenship
- good conduct and absence of records incompatible with the role
- preferential qualification:
- possession of certifications and diplomas in the field of computer forensics
Special remarks:
- candidates participating in the competition authorise the Cantonal Police to process all data necessary to verify good conduct and absence of records incompatible with employment in the Police
- flexibility of employment as required (extended hours, holidays, night shifts)

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment rate), flexible or according to service needs
