Workshop Manager Carpenter (M/F/D)

About the job

Your mission:

• Managing a team of 3 carpenters and 2 apprentices
• Organising, planning and supervising the daily activities of the workshop
• Participating in the manufacture of works
• Collaborating with management as well as with the installation team
• Supporting and training apprentices
• Working solid wood artisanally
• Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
• Manufacturing windows, doors, shutters, kitchens and other fittings and furniture
• Using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping and assembling wood
• Strictly respecting and applying safety standards and operational procedures

Your profile:

• Federal VET Diploma as Carpenter
• Several years of professional experience as a workshop carpenter
• Trainer certification in a company and experience in managing apprentices
• Mastery of carpentry techniques and artisanal solid wood work
• Knowledge of materials and tools specific to carpentry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to understand and follow detailed plans
• Experience in manufacturing customised furniture
