These are your tasks
- Responsible for the entire nursing process as well as ensuring a high quality of care
- Professionally carrying out nursing measures with a focus on the safety and well-being of residents
- Careful and complete documentation of care as well as ensuring compliance with guidelines and standards
- Ensuring professional care even in complex and challenging situations
- Taking on the role as the central contact person for medical professionals, residents and relatives
- Participating in the training of apprentices according to your own competencies

- Completed tertiary education as a nursing specialist HF
- Professional experience in dementia care is an advantage as well as knowledge of RAI-LTCF
- Bringing life experience and high social competence to care
- Holistic view of the care of people with dementia
- Aligning care to individual needs beyond basic care
- Commitment to appreciative and empathetic support of residents
- Very good oral and written German skills as well as good understanding of the Swiss dialect

Burgerspittel is the elderly institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. In a refined setting, we offer care and support as well as numerous hospitality services for around 190 elderly residents. We cultivate a warm welcome culture and treat employees and residents openly and appreciatively.
