During your training, you will learn how automated systems are planned, built, programmed, tested and
maintained. In the first two years of apprenticeship, you will complete your basic training at the AZW
Training Centre in Langenthal. There you will acquire the most important basics of electrical engineering,
control technology, mechanics and automation and work on exciting practical projects.
From the 3rd year of apprenticeship, you will join us and deepen your knowledge directly on our modern production and
packaging systems.

What to expect
- Build and wire electrical and electronic controls
- Assemble, test and commission automated production systems
- Analyse faults and rectify malfunctions on machines and systems
- Program and test controls
- Carry out maintenance and repair work

- Completed compulsory schooling
- Good performance in mathematics as well as interest in technology and natural sciences
- Logical thinking skills and manual dexterity
- Careful, reliable and independent working style
Enjoy working in a team and motivated to learn new things
Very good German language skills
