Specialist Psychologist / Specialist Psychologist in Child and Adolescent Forensics

We are seeking for the area of activity in a youth welfare institution supervised by us
a committed and reliable specialist psychologist for psychotherapeutic treatments including diagnostics and treatment planning of adolescents aged 14-22 years with a focus on psychotraumatology under regular guidance and supervision depending on training and knowledge level.

The consultation and liaison service is part of the specialised care at the Centre for Child Welfare and Child and Adolescent Forensics of the University Clinic of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KJP). For forensically specialised facilities of residential youth welfare, we offer diagnostics and treatment according to the latest standards.

Your tasks

• You treat, accompany and advise adolescents aged 14 to 22 years individually, with families and in groups, taking into account their specific problems as well as their intellectual and emotional capacities in close interdisciplinary cooperation
• You conduct clinical and test psychological diagnostics
• You document your work and write reports for internal and external use
• You provide professional support and maintain exchange with the staff in the institution

• You hold a specialist title in psychology or child and adolescent psychiatry or are about to complete it.
• You bring knowledge in the field of psychotraumatology / psychotrauma therapy, or you already have experience in treating trauma-related disorders
• You are willing to contribute your skills to an interdisciplinary and motivated team and to continue your education
• The willingness for multidisciplinary, process-oriented collaboration is natural for you
• You understand and speak German very well
