Brief introduction
The SalZH Foundation is a non-profit educational organisation in the canton of Zurich, offering Christian-oriented care and education from daycare through playgroups to secondary school. It operates several locations in Winterthur and supports children holistically on their educational journey.
Your role as a cover from October 2026 – approximately March 2027
Together with the HR team, you ensure reliable and timely payroll processing. You are responsible for payroll processes, social insurance, and support administrative matters concerning our employees.
Your tasks include:
- Two payroll runs per month (hourly and monthly wages)
- Checking data quality and performing plausibility checks
- Processing all social insurance notifications
- Updating and controlling pension fund notifications
- Monitoring and submitting withholding tax
- Preparing employer certificates and interim earnings forms
- Assisting with the HR year-end closing
You bring with you:
- Experience in HR administration and payroll
- Proven HR assistant with at least 3 years of professional experience in payroll
- Experience in payroll accounting and processing in Abacus
- Knowledge of common Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong numerical affinity and accuracy
- Knowledge of Swiss labour and social insurance law
- Independent and structured working style
