Help shape the cityscape of Winterthur with us! In our Public Lighting department, we ensure on behalf of the city of Winterthur that streets, squares and paths are safe and well lit.Your Tasks
- Creation, maintenance and repair of public lighting systems, clocks, bus shelters, arcades and ticket machines
- Working at heights for lighting suspensions, street lamps, flagpoles, advertising banners, temporary installations, overhead lines and underpasses
- Installation, maintenance, replacement and documentation of various lighting controls
- Periodic condition checks and data collection on public lighting systems
Your Profile
- Basic training as an electrician EFZ, network electrician EFZ or assembly electrician EFZ
- Experience in the construction and maintenance of lighting systems, preferably with the use of aerial work platforms
- Good Swiss German skills (German skills: spoken and written)
- Good physical condition, resilience, ability to work in a team as well as a high level of safety and risk awareness
- Driving licence category B and preferably with category BE (trailer) and category C (truck). Alternatively, willingness to obtain these driving licences
