Our client is a recognised Swiss company, active in the design, planning and support of complex projects in the building sector. Present in French-speaking Switzerland and benefiting from strong complementary expertise at the national level, it now wishes to accelerate the development of its activities, evolve its teams and sustainably strengthen its positioning in the Romandy market. Your responsibilities
As head of the French-speaking Switzerland Building Unit, you assume overall responsibility in strategic, commercial, operational, human and financial terms. You define and implement the development strategy, consolidate existing activities and identify new growth drivers. Very present on the market, you develop a solid network with the main construction players and lead the acquisition of strategic projects. With a large degree of autonomy, you structure the organisation to support its growth, recruit key skills, develop talents and build a high-performing management team. As a unifying leader, you establish a culture of responsibility, collaboration, excellence and customer focus. As guarantor of the economic performance of your unit, you manage turnover, profitability, budget and order book, while ensuring risk control and project quality. Finally, you promote synergies with other group entities to offer integrated, high value-added solutions on complex projects.
Your profile
With a higher education qualification in a field related to building, construction, energy or a comparable technical discipline, you have proven experience in the building sector and in managing complex projects. In the past, you have led multidisciplinary teams and taken responsibility for a profit centre, with mastery of budget, profitability and commercial development issues. Your excellent knowledge of the Swiss Romandy market and its main players enables you to identify opportunities and create lasting relationships with senior contacts. A hands-on personality, you know how to provide direction, mobilise teams and support an organisation in a growth dynamic. Your entrepreneurial spirit is accompanied by a real capacity for execution, a strong customer orientation and a deep understanding of the interfaces between the different building trades. In addition to perfect command of French, you ideally have very good knowledge of German and/or English.
