Junior Freight Forwarding Clerk Sea Freight Export

Initial Situation

Experience as a freight forwarding clerk in the sea freight business? For our well-known corporate client, a large, globally operating air and sea freight forwarding company, we are looking for a likeable personality for an interesting and varied role.

Tasks

• Scheduling/processing/monitoring of sea freight export shipments (occasionally also X-Trade)
• Daily communication with internal and external branches/partners
• Customer base support
• Contact person for customers and suppliers
• File closures (billing & invoice control)
• General commercial activities related to the forwarding business

Requirements

Training as a freight forwarding clerk
2-3 years of professional experience in sea freight would be ideal
Due to the team composition, preferably someone up to approx. 35 years old

IT

Good user knowledge of MS Office programmes (Word and Excel)

Languages

German: very good written and spoken skills
English: good written and spoken skills (forwarding basics)
Additional languages are an advantage
