Specialist in Research Funding 50%, limited to 3 years (with possibility of extension)

About the job

• Analysis of the national and international foundation funding landscape as well as other funding instruments (excluding EU funding, SNSF and Innosuisse)
• Monitoring of trends and developments in research funding
• Advising and supporting research staff in the application process
• Consulting on Open Science, Open Access and research data management
• Design and implementation of internal information and exchange formats on research funding and third-party funding acquisition
• Preparation of key figures and decision-making bases

• Sound knowledge of the national and international research funding landscape with a focus on foundations and other funding instruments
• Experience in coordinating application processes and acquiring third-party funding for research projects
• Strong advisory skills in dealing with researchers
• High service orientation and ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of Open Science, Open Access and research data management
• Knowledge in budgeting and project calculation
• Very good command of German (preferably native speaker or C2) as well as English (C2/Proficiency)
