Assistant in Community Care and Health in Paediatrics
The Women-Mother-Child Department is seeking an assistant in community care and health (ASSC) at a workload between 80% and 100%, to strengthen its Paediatrics Service team. The starting date is planned for 1 July 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) includes the Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Paediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals work within this department. We care for women throughout their lives in gynaecological, obstetrical, and psychosocial aspects, as well as children from birth to adolescence.
Mission
- You collaborate closely with the nursing team in patient care
- You responsibly and autonomously support patients in aspects of their care
- You ensure the execution and monitoring of care delegated by qualified staff
- You perform medico-technical acts on delegation, in care situations
- You carry out administrative and logistical tasks related to your activity, mainly linked to patient care.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an assistant in community care and health
- You have experience in paediatrics
- You are dynamic, committed, motivated, and responsible
- You have knowledge of institutional software (Soarian electronic patient record), an advantage
- You have excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written (level B2)
