About the job
As an intern, you support the Sustainability & HSEQ department in implementing projects and actions related to sustainability. You actively participate in initiatives, reporting, and improving internal processes, thereby helping to strengthen the company's sustainable impact.
Activities:
- Assist your manager and the team in their areas of activity
- Support the design and execution of sustainability and HSEQ action plans
- Participate in actions initiated by SPIE CH, SPIE GSA, or the group: sustainability and HSEQ committees, working groups, sustainability and HSEQ days, on-site audits, etc.
- Support extra-financial performance reporting campaigns (sustainability, CSRD, Carbon footprint, Green Share, ...) and promote them internally and externally
Specific activities: Support and assistance for:
- Defining ambitious projects with the sustainability committee
- Managing the EcoEntreprise Excellence recertification
- Supporting the development of the Sustainability IT Services portfolio
- Formalizing the responsible digital communication plan
- Managing the Sustainability Month 2026 project
- Analyzing the benefits and feasibility of certifying an energy management system for SPIE CH according to SPIE GSA standards
- Supporting the ISO recertification for 2026
- Final year Master of Science in Management student with a focus on sustainability
- Good writing skills, ability to anticipate, rigor, synthesis skills, and autonomy
- Good interpersonal skills / communication ability
- Attitude: Ability to embody and carry the company's values and strategy. This is expressed orally and in writing
- Listening: Ability to identify and understand the issues of interlocutors and the context
Collaboration: Ability to work in a team and share information for a common goal
- Innovation: Ability to be inventive in reasoning (approaches) and/or behaviors
- Entrepreneurship: Ability to be proactive and successfully carry out an idea or project
- Efficiency: Ability to achieve a goal by mobilizing appropriate means and respecting all constraints
- Native French speaker and very good level of English. German is a plus
- Workplace: Bussigny or Bern. Mobility expected, regular travel to all SPIE sites
