As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for an Accountant to ensure the continuity of the Group's accounting management during the absence of the position holder. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will aim to ensure in particular:

• The general accounting of several Group companies, in Switzerland and France

• The rigorous monitoring of tax deadlines and monthly and annual closings

• The reliability of relationships with our partners (suppliers, clients, banks)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multi-company general accounting (recording purchases, banks, settlements, payments, inter-company reconciliation, monitoring provisions, etc.) - Swiss and French accounting
• Prepare supplier payments
• Prepare and monitor client LCRs
• Reconcile client/supplier accounts
• Establish and follow up client reminders
• Verify and account for expense reports
• Participate in monthly closing and cycle reviews

PROFILE

• Training in accounting (CFC commercial employee, Federal accounting certificate or equivalent) and at least 5 years of proven experience in general accounting, ideally in a multi-company environment
• Good knowledge of Swiss and French accounting, particularly VAT rules in both countries
• Rigour, organisational skills and respect for deadlines, especially during monthly and annual closings
• Comfortable with IT tools and ERPs (knowledge of Microsoft Business Central is an asset)
• Autonomy and ability to manage priorities in a multi-entity environment
• Discretion, reliability and good interpersonal skills (regular contact with clients, suppliers and banks)

Fluent French is essential; good command of professional English.

Location: Position based in Plan-les-Ouates (Geneva - Switzerland)

Date: to be filled as soon as possible

Contract: Fixed-term contract until 31/08/2027
