• Management of projects for the planning and successful realisation of new, expansion and renewal projects in the field of substations from the concept phase to commissioning on the network levels NE5 to NE1
• Ensuring project objectives regarding costs, deadlines, quality and safety as well as compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Design and coordination of primary and secondary systems
• Evaluation, tendering and procurement of components, systems and services including technical negotiations with suppliers and partners
• Control and coordination of internal and external project participants as well as ensuring professional project communication
• Responsibility for technical documentation and sustainable preservation of expertise in the field of substation technology
• Participation in investment and cost planning as well as ongoing monitoring of project budgets
• Maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships as well as competent support of our customers in the third-party market business
• Advising internal and external stakeholders on technical issues related to substations and energy infrastructures
• Participation in specialist committees and active shaping of the further development of our network infrastructure

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualifications
• Several years of experience in the planning and realisation of infrastructure, network or substation projects in energy supply from 16kV to 380kV as well as sound knowledge of primary and secondary technology
• Experience in project management and working with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong customer orientation as well as experience in supporting and advising customers and business partners
• Negotiation skills and confident appearance towards customers, authorities, suppliers and service providers
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications; experience with project management and ERP systems is an advantage
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills are an advantage
