Functional Safety Manager (m/f/d)

What you will accomplish:

You will take over the planning, coordination, and monitoring of activities in the area of functional safety throughout the entire project and product lifecycle

You are the first point of contact for our customers and suppliers regarding Functional Safety

You coach and support our employees in Functional Safety activities

You support the execution of dedicated safety analyses (e.g., FTA, FMEDA, FMEA, HARA, DFA) and lead them

You collaborate on product and supplier approvals with regard to Functional Safety

You take over the development, implementation, and improvement of relevant elements for our Quality Management System concerning functional safety

You assist in defining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) with subsequent monitoring of the KPIs

You conduct independent Functional Safety Assessments

What you bring:

Your technical background (system, hardware, or software) and at least 3 years of professional experience were acquired in the automotive or vehicle industry or a comparable environment

Proven knowledge of your competence in ISO 26262 – Functional Safety – Road Vehicles as well as knowledge of IEC 61508, ISO 13849, or ISO 25119

You have comprehensive project management skills

As a team player with a solution-oriented approach, you communicate confidently and assertively in English; German is an advantage
