We are looking for you as Head of Branch Office Tamping Technology (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the locations Bad Hersfeld, Frankfurt am Main, or Hanau as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- In this role, you are responsible for acquiring contracts and expanding sustainable customer relationships
- You independently manage the implementation and further development of the tamping technology strategy at the regional level
- You ensure the achievement of economic goals, especially regarding contribution margin and service billing
- You regularly analyse order processing and derive measures to optimise service delivery
- You coordinate efficient scheduling, deployment, material, and resource planning in coordination with internal and external partners
- You shape cooperation with machine maintenance, clients, authorities, and subcontractors in a goal-oriented and partnership-based manner
- Through effective risk, quality, and performance controlling, you ensure successful and economical project execution
- You take on high responsibility for leading, developing, and retaining employees as well as promoting continuous improvement processes
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
- You have several years of professional and leadership experience in the areas of track, rail construction, infrastructure, or machine technology
- You possess sound knowledge in planning, controlling, and executing complex construction projects as well as good technical understanding
- You quickly recognise business management contexts and have experience in cost, budget, and result responsibility
- You convince clients, authorities, and subcontractors with professionalism and negotiation skills
- Ideally, you already have knowledge in contract and change order management
- With a structured working style, analytical thinking, and strong decision-making skills, you master demanding challenges
- As a leader, you impress with communication skills, assertiveness, and pronounced social competence
