To work in collaboration with the dentist in several dental clinics:
What you will be expected to do:
- Assist a specialist dental surgeon at the chair
- Prepare therapeutic procedures
- Provide oral hygiene instruction
- Sterilization and taking radiographs
- Train apprentices for the specialty
- Order specific materials for the specialty
- Manage the dentist’s schedule and appointments
- Handle administrative files (disability insurance, social insurance, LaMal, etc.)
- Create and present quotes and explanations to patients
- Follow up on ongoing treatments
- Federal diploma as dental assistant, or Sefri recognition with radiology
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- Interest and experience in surgery
- Excellent presentation, smiling, dynamic, and flexible
- Organized, versatile, punctual, and autonomous person
- Comfortable in human relations and patient service
- Proficient with Dentagest software
- Good command of common IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Perfect mastery of French
- Knowledge of English is an asset
