The IT Finance Business Continuity Specialist will join the Business Continuity team in the IT Department, with a specific focus on application maintenance for the SAP Finance environment. SH/e will also be responsible for the system's evolutionary and corrective management, ensuring operational continuity and the efficiency of existing business processes.
SH/e will act as a point of contact between the Business and the technical team responsible for second-level support, including external vendors, ensuring the effective translation of operational needs into application solutions and providing ongoing user support. The role involves managing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities, with a focus on SAP FI and CO modules, and a specific focus on issues related to inventory management through the Material Ledger.
The IT Finance Business Continuity Specialist will actively contribute to the lifecycle management of SAP applications, monitoring performance, proposing continuous improvement actions, and ensuring integration with existing IT architectures. SH/e will also be involved in supporting Zegna Group users to facilitate solution adoption and effective change management.
How will You contribute
- Provide technical support for SAP functional applications, diagnosing and resolving reported issues;
- Ensure coordination of vendor activities during the development and evolutionary maintenance phases of application solutions;
- Draft the functional specifications required for system evolution and maintenance, ensuring consistency with company standards;
- Define the system's technical and functional requirements, ensuring integration between SAP and legacy systems;
- Ensure ongoing support for end users, managing reports through the company ticketing system (ServiceNow);
- Manage operational relationships with external vendors responsible for second-tier support, ensuring compliance with SLAs and service quality.
Who you are
You are a young professional with good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
You have:
- Degree in Economics or Computer Science or similar fields;
- At least 2 years of experience in in similar roles in the IT function of structured companies and/or consulting firms;
- Knowledge of SAP FI CO, SAP MM, PS, and TREASURY systems;
- Knowledge of Material Ledger and warehouse management issues;
- Exposure to ABAP programming language preferred;
- Fluent Italian and English.
