Who are we?

The Environmental Service (SEn) ensures the balance between humans and the environment in accordance with federal laws on water protection and environmental protection. To this end, it monitors environmental quality, contributes to the prevention of harmful impacts from new activities, ensures the remediation of existing installations causing damage, and informs authorities and the public about behaviours that cause detrimental environmental impacts.

Your tasks

The laboratory performs qualitative and quantitative analyses on various matrices to provide the Service with the necessary information to enable appropriate and measured decision-making.

For a period of 6 months, the internship will focus on:

• Updating the ISO 17025 quality assurance system
• Updating historical pollution data
• Participating in field sampling campaigns
• Collaborating to ensure the smooth running of the laboratory

Desired profile

• You have successfully completed a bachelor or master in chemistry or an equivalent qualification
• You have experience in analytical chemistry and an interest in environmental ISO
• You are comfortable with current IT tools
• You have proficiency in technical English
• You have excellent writing skills in French
