As an IT/OT Security Specialist, you are jointly responsible in electricity network operations for the planning, implementation and monitoring of security measures in our IT and OT systems, thus ensuring the protection of our facilities and systems against security threats. Your Tasks

You develop and maintain OT-specific security policies, concepts and procedures based on the ICT minimum standard, internal guidelines as well as relevant standards and support IT/OT risk management.

You support the secure operation of the overarching network control system as well as the station control technology in transformer stations and substations, incorporating security requirements into operation, maintenance and further development.

You support the operational implementation and further development of the information security management system (ISMS) in the OT environment in close cooperation with relevant departments.

If required, you participate in technical clarifications regarding regulatory requirements, industry recommendations and standards, e.g. in the context of ElCom, BACS, VSE or ICT minimum standard.

You lead small to medium-sized projects in the areas of control technology, OT security, network infrastructure and system renewal.

Your Profile

You have completed training as a network electrician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, IT specialist EFZ or automation technician EFZ.

You have further education at HF or FH level in electrical engineering/automation/informatics, possess network and project management skills and are ideally familiar with the station automation systems from Siemens and Sprecher Automation. Your focus is in the area of network control technology and remote control technology.

You have attended further training in cyber security or are interested in further education in this field (e.g. IT/OT Security Specialist with federal certificate, CAS Cyber Security, SANS ICS).

You are conscientious, work independently and precisely, are team- and service-oriented and have a high awareness of security and risk as well as the ability to solve problems systematically.

You have good physical constitution and hold a category B driving licence. In addition, you have the willingness and interest to contribute to the development of OT security services at Stadtwerk Winterthur.
