Pictet North America Advisors SA provides investment services to private clients. Founded in 2007, the SEC-registered company devises portfolio diversification strategies for clients based in the US and Canada.
We are hiring a Senior Global Equity Portfolio Manager to strengthen the Portfolio Management team of its Geneva-based affiliate, Pictet North America Advisors, an SEC-registered independent financial advisor.
In this role, you will manage global equity mandates across different strategies, shaping differentiated portfolios for North American private clients and contributing to the ongoing development of our investment offering.
Your role
You will :
- Manage single-line equity mandates on behalf of private clients.
- Generate investment ideas and conduct fundamental bottom-up research.
- Select securities and construct portfolios.
- Provide clients with portfolio management updates and performance reports.
- Contribute actively to day-to-day portfolio management and trading activities
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, or a qualification deemed equivalent.
- Postgraduate CIIA/CFA qualification, or equivalent.
- Adhere to the highest standards of integrity, show a strong team spirit and a genuine passion for securities analysis and investment management.
- Up to 10 years’ proven investment research experience, and keen to analyse diverse business models with a long-term perspective.
- Flexible and able to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks, including administrative duties.
- Flawless command of English, essential for preparing investment reports and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively, as well as to build strong client relationships.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
As the successful applicant, you will be thorough and methodical in your approach to your work. In addition to excellent analytical skills and the ability to process information, you will have proven experience in the field of equity portfolio management. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to work closely with your colleagues.
