Safety Officer & Quality Engineer 80–100%

We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Safety Officer with extended responsibilities as a Quality Engineer for our Quality Team. You will support our employees in ensuring a sustainable, safe, and compliant working environment, in accordance with ISO standards and legal requirements.
Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring, maintaining, and further developing the areas of occupational safety and health protection, as well as non-conformities and improvements
- Conducting and documenting risk assessments and hazard analyses, investigating accidents and near-misses including root cause analyses (5Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Optimising and further developing through training and operational awareness on occupational safety (e.g. through events) and non-conformities
- Ensuring compliance with statutory occupational safety requirements, accompanying and conducting audits, maintaining and further developing safety-relevant documentation and processes
- Organisational lead of the emergency organisation (evacuation drills, first responders, etc.) as well as the Q-circles
Your profile
- A completed technical basic education with further training in occupational safety & non-conformities as well as improvements
- At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company
- Solid knowledge of Swiss labour and safety law as well as ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 with a focus on non-conformities, corrective actions and continuous improvements
- Independent, methodical working style and good communication and persuasion skills, ability to collaborate with a wide range of parties (local, global, internal and external)
- Fluent German and English skills, French is a plus
