In this operational role, you will manage the finance and accounting department professionally with a strong service orientation. Financial accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting are your core responsibilities. You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER as well as cantonal and institution-specific requirements. You ensure the correct posting and reconciliation of accounts, prepare liquidity planning, and contribute to cost accounting and controlling. Additionally, you prepare contribution statements, performance records, and finance-related reports for authorities and work closely with administration, human resources, department heads, and external parties. You prepare evaluations, key figures, and decision-making bases for the Services and Operations management and coordinate the annual budgeting process. You develop and operate the management cockpit with relevant key performance indicators and contribute to strategic financial planning. The further development of processes, internal control systems, and digital workflows as well as insurance management complement your responsibilities.
For this role, you have a commercial basic education as well as further training at FH/HF level or, for example, a professional accounting certificate. You bring at least five years of professional experience in a comparable role and sound knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER. Very good user skills in MS products, especially Excel, as well as solid knowledge of Abacus or a comparable ERP system complete your professional profile.
