Job description:

• Manufacture of sophisticated and complex glass apparatuses using a table burner as well as lathe and roller bench
• Processing of custom-made and series products
• Professional support and development of employees and apprentices
• Conducting coaching sessions and practical knowledge transfer within the team
• Gradual assumption of a central expert role for demanding questions in apparatus glass construction
• Participation in development projects and the introduction of new manufacturing technologies
• Support in the production and further development of roller moulds, tools, and gauges
• Contribution to ensuring and further developing high quality standards

About the customer:

In this role, you combine hands-on operational work with an increasingly central function as a professional contact person and knowledge mediator within the team.

You already bring solid experience in apparatus glass construction and want to develop prospectively into an internal specialist who accompanies complex issues, passes on knowledge, and supports colleagues in a targeted manner.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in apparatus glass construction or in the manufacture of complex technical glass apparatuses
• Very good practical experience with table burner as well as lathe and roller bench
• Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of demanding manual tasks
• Interest in developing into a professional reference person within the team
• Enjoyment of coaching, knowledge transfer, and supporting less experienced colleagues
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• High quality awareness and pronounced team spirit
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Confident use of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems
