About the job

The Joint Upper School Underchläggi, – GOSU –, represents a forward-looking, joint educational project in Unterklettgau. Seven municipalities are collaborating to create, from 1 August 2026 in the new building in Neunkirch, an inspiring, lively and supportive learning environment for around 300 pupils, in which the previous school locations Hallau, Neunkirch and Wilchingen will be merged into an integrative school community.

In the new learning landscapes, accompanied, we develop and promote responsibility and independence in learning. The pupils work at their personal workplace and are thus optimally supported at their own learning pace and accompanied by the teachers.

To complement our team, we are looking for a Deputy Specialist Teacher for English for the upper school from 1 August 2026.

Deputy Specialist Teacher English (50%) - from 1.8.26 in Neunkirch SH

Your area of responsibility includes

• the subject English for the upper school at the Real level.
• teaching and supporting our young people both through subject inputs and as a learning coach.
• cross-level collaboration with the year group tandems in the learning landscape.

Your profile:

• You preferably have a teacher diploma recognised by the EDK.
• You are confident in dealing with more demanding learning objectives and heterogeneous groups within the upper school levels.
• You bring experience in coaching learning processes and learning development discussions, self-organised learning or project-oriented learning formats.
• An innovative and reflective understanding of teaching is important to you.
• You are a team player, open to feedback and able to reflect well on yourself.
