Service Technician

You are responsible for the smooth operation of our facilities in the German-speaking region of Valais. This includes the following tasks:

Applicant Ideal Location: Visp, Valais

Main Tasks

• Carrying out regular maintenance work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic components of lifts and escalators within the assigned service area according to the maintenance manual

• Identifying and proposing repair and improvement work to the supervisor

• Identifying and ordering the required spare parts

• Performing "Circuit Court" (CC) repair work

• Using diagnostic and setup menus for troubleshooting

• Troubleshooting and fault clearance

• Releasing persons trapped in the lift

• Ensuring regular on-call duty

Other

• Ensuring compliance with and adherence to the absolute company principles (safety, quality, ethics) and all applicable policies, processes, rules, standards and fundamentals.

• Ensuring the confidentiality of the information provided

• Authorised and obliged to say stop if safety is not guaranteed (Stop Work Activity)

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge 

• A certificate of competence in the electrical field or equivalent, ideally with several years of experience in the lift industry

• To ensure availability during on-call duty, it is necessary that the employee lives in the work area

• You have a customer- and service-oriented manner as well as an independent working style

• You hold a driving licence category B

• You have business fluent German skills
