We are looking for an engaged and qualified General Logistics Operations Senior Professional to strengthen a dynamic operations team for our multinational client located in Zurich. In this role, you will manage and execute end-to-end logistics processes-spanning planning, distribution, and fleet operations-while driving efficiency across complex supply chain projects.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Logistics Planning & Optimization: Design, execute, and optimize logistics workflows to ensure streamlined supply chain operations and cost efficiency across multiple sites.

Warehouse & Distribution Management: Oversee daily operations within distribution centers, including inbound/outbound materials handling, receiving, and inventory control.

Transportation & Fleet Operations: Coordinate transportation networks, manage fleet schedules, and ensure compliant, on-time delivery across distribution operations.

Project & Process Leadership: Manage difficult and complex logistics projects independently under limited supervision, driving continuous operational improvements.

Mentorship & Coaching: Support, guide, and review the work of mid-level and junior professionals within the logistics team.
Qualifications & Requirements (Must-Haves)

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Experience: Senior-level experience (typically 5+ years) in logistics, warehouse management, and transportation operations.

Domain Expertise: Advanced, hands-on knowledge in at least two key logistics pillars: Logistics Planning, Warehouse/Distribution Operations, or Transportation/Fleet Management.

Problem-Solving & Autonomy: Strong ability to independently navigate complex operational challenges and manage multi-faceted supply chain projects.

Language Skills: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

Experience working within a global matrix organization or multinational enterprise setting.

Proficiency with advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Additional language skills (such as German, Italian, or French) are a distinct advantage.
