Your Area of Responsibility

As a Health Specialist EFZ, you are part of a nursing team in acute care or in a psychiatric department. You care for and support patients in everyday hospital life and accompany them on their path to recovery. For example, you assist them with personal hygiene (shower, bath, toilet), help with dressing, shaving, or hairstyling. It is important that you can build a trusting relationship with the people you care for. As a Health Specialist EFZ in training, you are also responsible for administrative and logistical tasks.

Compulsory schooling completed
Very good German skills
Enjoyment of contact, good manners
Patience and respect
Empathy and willingness to help
Good observation skills, quick reaction ability
Careful and precise way of working
Sense of cleanliness and order
Good physical condition, mental resilience
Flexibility: willingness to work irregular hours
Focus on Psychiatry: minimum age 17 years
