Your Responsibilities

• Leadership of detail manufacturing including sheet metal processing, mechanical processing and surface treatment including aircraft painting
• Development of directly subordinate managers, strengthening the leadership culture and ensuring recruitment, talent promotion and succession planning
• Overall responsibility for quality, deadlines, productivity, costs, occupational safety and customer satisfaction
• Consistent alignment of the production system to pull, lean and value stream-based responsibility
• Pragmatic further development of digitalisation, automation, manufacturing technologies as well as investment and infrastructure projects
• Management of performance, key figures, resources, budget, investments, personnel, machines and infrastructure as well as strengthening detail manufacturing as a lead factory for standards, processes and methods in the Pilatus network

What Convince Us

• Completed studies in engineering sciences, production engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Further training in business administration and leadership, preferably EMBA or comparable
• Several years of leadership experience in an industrial production environment with responsibility for large organisational units and management teams
• Sound knowledge in lean manufacturing, value stream management, operational excellence, SAP and digital production systems
• Experience with transformation programmes, production infrastructure, investments, automation and digitalisation
• Negotiation-level German and English skills at C1 level
• Entrepreneurial, integrative and implementation-strong leadership personality with clear result orientation, confident appearance at all levels as well as the ability to bring together different interests in a matrix organisation and achieve viable solutions
