In the "redfox- & DC Services" department, we manage the IT infrastructure for 6000 employees across all office buildings and data centers. Our team delivers high-quality and timely hardware services: We install, inventory, and manage workstations with laptops, workstations, monitors, peripherals, as well as meeting room infrastructure and communication rooms up to servers, storage, and network components in data centers. We also manage the WLAN and telephony infrastructure. As an operations organization, we ensure smooth hardware and IT operations at all our locations in the canton of Zurich.

Your Tasks

Responsible for hardware & cabling conception, planning, installations, configuration, and operation at all locations of Zürcher Kantonalbank
Participate in a major project in which all branches will be redesigned in the coming years
Support construction projects and take responsibility for the renewal and modernization of the entire IT basic infrastructure from communication rooms to workstations
Design and plan the entire IT basic infrastructure at headquarters and all branches
Assist with rollouts, lifecycle projects, and troubleshooting
In telephony operations, you support our IT basic infrastructure team in managing phone numbers as well as operating all existing telephony hardware and WLAN transmitters
Maintain and manage the IT inventory with all IT assets & network cabling

Your Profile

Completed basic training and experience as an electrical planner/installer
Good expertise and experience in IT infrastructure as well as with construction (construction & electrical plans: analysis and understanding) ICT technology knowledge and experience handling larger hardware installations
You have experience handling critical HW components in communication rooms or data centers and have a careful, responsible, and precise working style
Analytical thinking skills and the ability to analyze requirements, develop individual solutions, and think outside the box
You enjoy collaborative and interdisciplinary work
