These are your tasks

• You support our development teams during the development process with a focus on IT security
• You create security guidelines and best practices for secure software development and ensure their consistent implementation
• You regularly conduct security audits and penetration tests in the area of application security and interfaces
• You are responsible for continuous vulnerability and risk management in the application environment
• You organize and regularly lead security training for developers to strengthen the security culture
• You support preparations for audits and certifications
• You manage security incidents including rapid response to incidents, analysis and recovery, as well as follow-up
• As part of the security team, you also take on tasks from other security-relevant areas as needed

What you should bring

• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• You have at least 3 years of practical experience in software development in cloud (Azure) and on-premises environments
• You possess solid knowledge and several years of practical experience in secure coding practices as well as application and interface security
• Relevant further training and certifications in the security field complete your profile
• You know current threats and are able to ensure that security aspects are integrated into the development process from the start
• You have in-depth knowledge of container and VM security as well as current authentication and authorization mechanisms and can pass on this knowledge practically
• Ideally, you have experience integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines as well as secure software architecture
• You feel confident conducting technical analyses, can realistically assess risks, and set priorities correctly
• You bring very good German and English skills to communicate effortlessly with English-speaking colleagues
