What you can achieve

• Development and implementation of strategies for the sustainable development of business, portfolio and market segments
• Monitoring the implementation of the corporate strategy as well as strategic initiatives
• Creation and preparation of high-quality documents for presentation at Executive Board / Board of Directors level
• Strategic management and coordination of the RUAG-wide portfolio in coordination with the Business Areas
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Participation and strategy alignment on possible future scenarios through market and technology scouting and idea generation within and outside RUAG
• Collaboration with management, executives and external partners to align development initiatives with the overall strategy

What you bring with you

• Completed education at a university of applied sciences or university, preferably technical and/or business administration basic education with relevant further training (e.g. CAS, MAS, MBA)
• Professional experience in a similar position of at least 2-3 years required
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills to develop courses of action and target images
• Ability to quickly grasp, structure and prepare complex issues in a manner appropriate to the target audience
• Ability to integrate different interests at management and specialist level to create viable decision-making bases
• Experience or understanding in leading cross-departmental strategic initiatives and transformation projects
• Experience in consulting is an advantage
• Fluent in German, English and French is an advantage
