The Gesundheitsnetz Küsnacht AG (GNK) with the Tägerhalde and Wangensbach elderly and health centres, housing around 130 residents as well as a day care centre, Spitex, assisted living and advisory services with a total of around 250 employees, is a non-profit public limited company wholly owned by the municipality of Küsnacht. We are looking for a committed individual to join our kitchen team to provide temporary support during a staffing shortage.

Your new tasks

• Work in the dishwashing kitchen
• Assist and independently prepare all required meals and diets
• Serve and assist in service across all departments and throughout the entire catering of the elderly centres
• Assist with special events (internal and external events, banquets and catering)
• Proper and careful operation of appliances, machines and equipment
• Co-responsibility for safety and hygiene in the kitchen and catering areas

What you bring

• Several years of professional experience as an assistant cook, preferably in a care home or hospital environment
• Service-oriented personality with social skills, teamwork ability and enjoyment in working with elderly people
• Good knowledge of German
• Willingness to work weekends
• Driving licence mandatory
