The Gorwiden Care Centre is a private care centre, very well accessible by public transport in Zurich-Oerlikon. We specialise in the field of geriatrics. Our care centre consists of two buildings and is charmingly nestled in a quiet neighbourhood. 100 employees accompany our residents in their daily lives.

To support and strengthen our team, we are looking for kitchen staff, 100%, starting 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the head chef and kitchen team in meal preparation
• Independent preparation of dishes in the cold kitchen
• Assisting with plating
• Performing chopping and preparatory tasks
• Carrying out cleaning duties
• Taking over breakfast service
• Performing dishwashing duties
• Co-responsibility for compliance with hygiene regulations and cleanliness of the kitchen and ancillary rooms

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the kitchen area, ideally in a home or care institution
• Independent, precise and efficient working style
• Good knowledge of German
• Team spirit, flexibility, reliability
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
