About the job
Become part of our motivated medical team in the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine (DAIM). Together, you will work interdisciplinarily in our recognised intensive care unit (training centre category A) and have the opportunity to specifically develop your skills in intensive care medicine. Depending on your interest, you can further deepen your expertise in the certified Intermediate Care Unit or in Anaesthesia (training centre category A2). We are looking for a committed individual to join us immediately or by arrangement, who actively participates in building our organisational structure, thinks interdisciplinarily, and works in a team-oriented manner.

Your Tasks
- You will participate in the intensive care service operations and contribute to the organisation of the intensive care unit.
- You have the opportunity to be involved in internal departmental and cross-clinic projects.
- You will participate in the training of our assistant physicians.
- You have the option to take on a lecturer role at the Aargau Vocational School for Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, and Emergency Nursing of the Cantonal Hospitals Aarau and Baden.
- Upon request, you will rotate to the interdisciplinary Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) and, if you hold a specialist title, also to Anaesthesia.
Your Profile
- You have completed intensive care training as a FMH specialist physician (or an equivalent foreign qualification) or are about to complete it.
- Ideally, you have additional specialist training in Anaesthesia or General Internal Medicine; emergency medicine knowledge is an advantage.
- You think interdisciplinarily and are interested in the integrative care of our patients.
- You are familiar with the Swiss healthcare system.
