Central IT provides IT services for students, researchers, institutes, faculties, and central services of the University of Zurich.Our team within Central IT is responsible for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) of UZH and ensures secure and reliable access to systems, applications, and digital resources.
We are currently shaping the next generation of UZH's IAM: Our existing solution is being replaced by a modern, future-proof platform. The introduction, integration, further development, and future operation offer diverse and exciting tasks as well as the opportunity to actively help shape the new IAM landscape.
With our expertise and in close collaboration with various areas of UZH, we create secure, stable, and sustainable solutions.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, team-oriented, and proactive individual who brings in their experience and ideas and actively contributes to the further development of our IAM.
Identity & Access Management Engineer (IAM)
Responsibilities
- Operation of the existing as well as configuration and further development of the new IAM suite
- Support of UZH members by maintaining identities, accesses, systems, and interfaces
- Implementation and maintenance of processes, workflows, and their automation
- Replacement of the current system with development, setup, and operation of the new solution
- Development and integration of roles and applications into the IAM landscape
- Responsibility for continuous operation including lifecycle management
Profile
- Higher technical education in computer science or comparable training/continuing education
- Ideally already specialised in Identity and Access Management
- Knowledge of modern IAM suites and associated tasks
- Willingness to accompany the current system in the phase-out
- Knowledge in role development is an advantage
- Knowledge in automation and AI is an advantage
- Understanding of end-to-end processes in IAM is important
- You are a committed individual who values collegial teamwork
- High commitment, personal responsibility, and independence
- Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
- High willingness to learn and affinity for shaping new IT environments
