Economist (m/f/d)

• Interesting and challenging work in the economist team of the Finance Department at the interface of administration, government, and cantonal council
• Review and assessment of government and cantonal council matters from all departments
• Support of the head of department, the secretary general, and the economist team on economic and business management issues
• Participation in working and project groups as a representative of the Finance Department
• Assistance in the preparation of reports and creation of presentations

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics (FH/Uni), preferably with a focus on economics or public management
• Interest in financial and political issues
• Quick comprehension and independent working style
• Confident oral and written expression in German

The position is particularly suitable for a career entry after completing studies. The position is limited until the end of March 2028. At this time, a reorganisation will take place in the Secretariat General of the Finance Department. Depending on suitability, there is the possibility of continued employment.
