HMS Intern 100%The Religion Office maintains relations between the Canton of Zurich and the Zurich religious communities. It supports the Government Council in achieving its legislative goals regarding religious communities, advocates for the promotion of pastoral care in hospitals, prisons, and asylum centres – and serves as a liaison between the Zurich religious communities and the cantonal authorities and administrative units.
For the 2026/2027 school year starting on 1 August 2026, we are looking for a committed individual for an HMS internship at the Religion Office.
These tasks await you
- Assistance with administrative and organisational tasks
- Support at events, meetings, and projects of the office
- Collaboration in the area of finance/controlling
- Getting to know political processes
- Assistance in organising events and functions
- Insight into the internal and external communication of the Religion Office
- Administrative support in other organisational units of the General Secretariat of the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs
You bring with you
- You are in HMS training and looking for a varied internship year.
- You are interested in social issues and the work of religious communities in the Canton of Zurich.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and enjoy working digitally.
- You work carefully, reliably, and in a structured manner.
- You enjoy contact and are good with people.
- You are cheerful, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a team.
