The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden, with the Acute Hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.

We are looking for

In the acute somatic care area under the direction of Ms Dagmar Steinle, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a qualified nurse for our modern emergency department with a workload of 40-100%.

• Care and nursing of acute patients in unstable, complex and unpredictable situations
• Close intra- and interdisciplinary collaboration with all persons involved in the treatment
• Participation in and implementation of preventive, therapeutic and diagnostic measures
• Electronic nursing documentation

That is why we want you

• You have a successful qualification as a qualified nurse at HF or FH level or are a health and nursing professional
• Ideally, you have experience in an emergency department, but this is not mandatory
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Enjoy developing yourself in a company that promotes learning and where good collaboration is a central aspect of patient care
• You are characterised by a high level of professional, social, self- and methodological competence
• You act confidently and constructively in an interdisciplinary context
