To further develop our own events from international matches and cup finals to partner and community occasions, we are immediately or by arrangement seeking a creative, entrepreneurial and implementation-strong personality as:

Your area of responsibility

• Event development & fan experience: You consistently develop our event formats and the entire fan journey. With coherent dramaturgy, entertainment and surprising moments, you make international matches, cup finals and other SHV events special experiences before, during and after the event.

• Innovation & technology: You combine live experiences with digital possibilities, data and new technologies and transfer relevant impulses from other areas & industries.

• Event, hospitality and activation offerings: Together with marketing & sponsorship, you identify new commercial potentials and develop activatable event and hospitality offers with added value for fans, partners and the association.

• Planning & control: You are responsible for concepts, schedules, budgets, service providers and partners and ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and reliable implementation.

• Operational event implementation: You manage the preparation and on-site execution, keep an overview even in dynamic situations and pitch in where needed.

• Team leadership & collaboration: You lead a small event team as a player-coach and work closely with marketing & sponsorship, communication & marketing, sport and external partners.

In this position, you not only shape individual events but also influence how people experience Swiss handball. You combine creative ideas with entrepreneurial thinking and operational excellence with the aim of creating enthusiasm and sustainable economic success
equally.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in the conception and implementation of complex events or live experiences – for example in sport, entertainment, festivals, brand experience or hospitality

• Strong sense for target groups, dramaturgy, entertainment and the details that make an event a genuine and successful experience

• Ability to think impact, quality and cost-effectiveness together as well as to recognise and consistently develop potentials

• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style with high reliability, resilience and enjoyment of operational responsibility

• Openness to new technologies, data and impulses from other industries as well as courage to constructively question the status quo and try new things

• Inspiring, team-oriented personality who provides guidance, takes responsibility and effectively brings together different internal and external stakeholders

You do not just want to manage existing processes but rethink events and implement them excellently at the same time. You do not only ask: "How have we done it so far?" but also: "How good could it become?" In doing so, you keep the needs of the fans as well as those of our teams, partners and other stakeholders in mind.
