Shiptec AG provides services in the areas of ship engineering, shipbuilding, ship revisions and conversions as well as ship maintenance. With an engineering office and a large shipyard in Lucerne, it can fully cover the resulting market segments.

Your area of responsibility

Plant and equipment builders manufacture individual devices as well as entire systems and plants from metal. They produce the individual parts and assemble them. In plant and equipment construction, very different products are created: machine housings, boiler and pipe systems for industry, steel beams, window frames and metal stairs for the construction sector, devices for air conditioning and heating systems, entire railway cars, kitchen facilities, etc.

They often accompany a product through all stages of development, from the planning phase through production and final assembly to commissioning. Most of the time, they also take over the later maintenance and repair of the constructions.

Requirements profile

– Completed compulsory school with good grades
– Manual dexterity and spatial imagination
– Good physical condition
– No allergies to metals, fats, oils
– Good comprehension, teamwork skills, reliability and independence
– Motivated work approach and resilience
