In the Presidential Department, IT Division, we are looking to strengthen our team from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement with you as Head of IT Department.

Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for the IT organisation including professional and personnel management of the three-member team
- Ensuring a stable, secure and efficient IT operation
- Responsibility for budget, IT security, network infrastructure and licence management
- Development of strategic IT concepts and decision-making bases for management and other committees
- Project management and support of IT projects in collaboration with the specialist departments
- Digitalisation and automation of business processes
- Management of external service providers, cloud providers and technology partners
- Evaluation and introduction of hardware and software as well as collaboration solutions
Your profile
- Completed education in computer science (e.g. Diploma in Computer Science, MAS Univ.)
- Several years of professional and leadership experience, preferably in public administration
- Additional business education
- Training in project management (Hermes5 and Scrum Master) as well as experience in project management
- Good knowledge and experience of procurement law
- Responsible and team-oriented personality
- Good communication skills and high social competence, confident negotiation skills in German, both spoken and written
