For our business unit 'Weighing & Instrument Components' (MTWIC), which is leading in the industrialisation and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors, and circuit boards for the entire MT group, we are looking for a motivated and independent Supply Chain Designer 100% (all genders) at the Nänikon-Greifensee site with immediate effect. Within our team, you are the hub and provide a significant contribution to greater transparency based on your analyses and models. The role offers many opportunities to shape the development of the area of responsibility in an agile environment. In projects, you work closely with various departments to develop innovative solutions and increase efficiency in the supply chain. Furthermore, you support the implementation of best practices and new technologies to continuously improve supply chain performance. In this role, you will undertake the following activities: You collect, analyse, link, and visualise logistics and production data. Development of a meaningful end-to-end reporting structure. You lead and support projects in the supply chain. You support optimisation initiatives in procurement and at the interfaces between purchasing, planning, logistics, and production. You proactively identify demand fluctuations and their impact on manufacturing areas. You develop, simulate, and implement optimisation scenarios.
