Appointing Authority / Administrative Unit / Institution
The independent judicial authority consists of judges appointed according to Art. 10a JG who are independent of the courts. It is based in Fribourg and offers its assistance as needed to all first instance criminal and civil judicial authorities to compensate for overloads, temporary staff shortages, or the absence of a judge. In special cases, the Judicial Council may call upon the independent judicial authority to support a specific authority.

Your tasks
• Drafting judgements and decisions within the authority's areas of responsibility (civil and criminal law)
• Taking minutes
• Preparing court files and legal research
• Participating in hearings with an advisory vote
Desired profile
• Licence or Master in Swiss Law
• Confident written expression
• Professional experience, preferably in a court clerk's office
• Good IT skills, familiarity with the Tribuna software is an advantage
• Proficiency in French or German with very good knowledge of the other language (bilingualism)
