System Engineer
80 - 100% (m/f/d)
We are looking for a System Engineer to strengthen our team, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Tasks
- Consolidation and operation of our Linux server environment (Debian) (DHCP, DNS, mail, web and DB, backup, monitoring and more)
- Server automation with Puppet/Salt
- Monitoring and reporting of the server infrastructure
- Further development of the existing server infrastructure
- Project responsibility
- Planning & execution of server migrations and replacements
- Creation, maintenance and revision of documentation
- Engineer on Duty shift
- Co-supervision of internal IT and its support
You enjoy working independently and solution-oriented. As a member of a team with common goals, reliability and good cooperation are a matter of course for you. In addition to a quick grasp, you are characterised by a high awareness of quality and initiative.
Further requirements
- Completed IT apprenticeship or comparable qualification; or correspondingly proven experience
- Very good knowledge in the Debian Linux environment, strong affinity for open source
- Familiar with open source tools in the ISP environment
- Interest in service orchestration
- German and English: good oral and written skills
- Other foreign languages welcome
- Driving licence category B
