Senior System Engineer | CDI SA

CDI SA is an IT engineering company based in Fribourg active in the field of Internet technologies: application development and IT services. Today, with more than 40 employees, we operate in various fields ranging from medical to finance with a clientele covering a wide spectrum, from SMEs to multinationals.

To strengthen our IT infrastructure management department, we are looking for a Senior System Engineer

Your tasks

• Design and implement system architectures for our clients
• Manage and develop our data center and Cloud services
• Manage data storage systems SAN, DAS, NAS
• Administer and troubleshoot our clients' system infrastructures
• Ensure technological watch around our strategic products
• Support the sales force by participating in pre-sales activities
• Design, implement and manage Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365 technologies
• Manage Veeam Backup backups
• Manage Zabbix Grafana monitoring
• Automate system management using PowerShell scripting

Your profile

• Recognized training in IT (HES or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of VMware, Windows and Linux environments
• Proactive person, able to work in a team but also independently
• You enjoy contact with clients and have good interpersonal skills
• Manufacturer certifications a plus (Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, ...)
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
• Good knowledge of French and English (German a plus)
• Valid work permit
• Driver's license
