What is important to you at work? Participation? Self-fulfillment? Meaning? Balance? Challenge?
You get all this at Mobility. Because with us it’s not called work, but: MORK – more than just work. As a pioneer of carsharing, we have experience with «changing the world». Do you want to help shape the transport transition in Switzerland and the path of Mobility? Then apply as a System Engineer and strengthen Mobility with your drive.
As a System Engineer, you are part of the four-person Office IT team. Together, the team provides our 250 employees with a powerful workplace infrastructure that enables flexible, secure, and collaborative work – regardless of location and time. In our small, well-coordinated team, you have the opportunity to take responsibility for a wide range of tasks and actively shape Office IT. In this team, you work closely with the specialist departments, analyze requirements, and develop suitable solutions for the continuous development of the digital workplace.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the operation, further development, and optimization of the server and client infrastructure and, together with the team, ensure a stable, secure, and high-performance IT environment.
- You manage the Microsoft Intune environment (Windows, Android, macOS) and continuously expand it.
- Together with the team, you are the main contact person for IT problems (first-level and second-level support) for our 250 employees.
- You administer Windows servers, Linux systems, as well as container-based solutions (Docker).
- You support new employees during onboarding to our IT infrastructure and tools and conduct training sessions when we introduce new IT tools.
What you bring
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a System Engineer.
- You have training as a platform developer/system technician EFZ or a comparable qualification.
- You bring solid knowledge in Windows Server, Linux, Docker, and modern IT operating environments. Experience with Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, device management, Windows client management, macOS integration) is an advantage.
- You are willing to regularly assist in support as well as take on one week of on-call duty every 5-7 weeks and about one night shift every 2-3 months (server maintenance) (on-call duties are compensated and night shifts can be compensated).
- You are a service-oriented personality and enjoy supporting our employees with IT problems. Your experience in troubleshooting as well as in analyzing and solving complex technical problems helps you with this.
- You have strong communication skills and like to address things directly and kindly.
"Working in a team where you are valued as a person and your talents are promoted is the best thing that can happen to you. If your weaknesses are also recognized and you are helped to improve them, that can only be good!"
Stefan Schneider, Team Leader Office IT
