About the job

The Appenzeller Show Dairy is a showcase and brand ambassador for Appenzeller® cheese and thus the spicy excursion destination in the Appenzellerland. The lively, tourist day operation with restaurant, shop and experience exhibition about the dairy delights guests from all over the world 364 days a year.

To strengthen our family team, we are looking for a motivated and committed personality.

Your assignments
• Mainly during the high season from April/May to October
• Shifts during the lunch service
• Working hours approx. 11:00 am to 2:00/3:00 pm (depending on workload / demand)
• Occasionally also at evening events
• Shifts during the week as well as on weekends
• Service in the à la carte area as well as at banquets and group events

Your tasks:
• Support of our service team during lunch service and on weekends
• Warm and professional care of our guests
• Advice at the table as well as active sales of our offers
• Assistance with restocking, preparation and cleaning tasks
• Ensuring a spicy and relaxed guest experience

You bring with you:
• Enjoyment in guest contact and gastronomy
• Friendly, well-groomed and confident appearance
• Team spirit as well as independent working style
• Experience in service is an advantage but not essential
• German language skills, English is an advantage
